This board needs some threads. I'll start the mandatory editor flame thread that all programming discussions require.

Actually I use TECO, but that's beside the point.

I wish I had listened earlier, but now I have finally seen the light.

Also, Emacs bindings aren't too bad with control mapped on caps lock which I've been doing even before I started using Emacs.
