Don't get me wrong, this doesn't apply to child molesters. Child molesters had the choice to act or not to act, but they chose to act. I'm talking about the pedos that are stuck the way they are, and can't change themselves, but they haven't done anything to hurt anyone else yet.
I mean, do you really think someone would WANT to be looked down upon by all of society? Do you really think someone would ENJOY hating themselves/what they are attracted to?
It's a little like homosexuals hundreds of years ago. They were hated by all of society, including their parents. They couldn't land a job, or have friends, and would sometimes be killed just for being gay (read: thread title). Do you think they would choose to be gay, even though all that shit would happen to them?
We don't know what truly causes pedophilia yet; the brain's a muddled mess of really complicated things, and we just haven't made sense of it all. What we can agree on though, is that it's not the pedophile's choice to become the way they become. Either they're born this way, or something in their life causes them to become this way, and no amount of therapy or treatment will change who they are.
