You just got a detailed explanation of why likening bats to rats is entirely inaccurate, it really doesn't matter in the slightest what you call them. Rats and mice aren't even the same thing, ow fuck my brain.
From a standpoint of a rural farmer, both rats and mices are parasites, who get inside his storage and steal grain, while a bat bites the farmer's only son, who dies from rabies. Spiders aint pretty either, but at least not parasites.
Are you saying that these are characters to aspire to or that they're "better" characters? Shinji who is legendary in his ability to be a useless piece of shit and Rei who is a lifeless, genetically engineered clone with no redeemable qualities or indeed qualities at all?
Japanese characters are human. They dont pretend to be supermen and stand above simple mortals. More likely the opposite (they are "dysfunctional" and in disarray). While alien invaders frequently openly portray the Jewish supermen. For example The original Japanese language version of Angel Cop is controversial for its anti-Semitic plot points. In the original Japanese, it is revealed that the Jews are the main threat to Japan's standard of living, and are trying to sabotage the country's economy and turn it into a dumping ground for radioactive material. When Manga Entertainment adapted Angel Cop into English, they removed all traces of Anti-Semitism from not only the dub, but the subtitled version as well, replaced with an American owned corporation as antagonist.
It's funny that you should pick Batman as your chief example when he doesn't have any superpowers at all. All his "powers" are gadgets.
He is a son of a Jewish billionaire and has unlimited financial means. I.e. consider a son of Rothschild family, who has a fun hobby dealing with competitors, labeling them "criminals", while his family itself is criminal.
Wut? The typical enemy of a super hero is the super villain
Supermen enemies are usually mere mortals, who use some technology to fight him, instead of some God given powers.
Haha, oh wow. I've heard some outlandish attacks against Rand in my time but this deserves a gold medal in non-sequitur-ism.
Shalom!
