What does it take to be a good revolutionary?

So, I was looking around on wikipedia and I noticed that the definition of revolutionary is: a person who demands fundamental change in power or organizational structures, constitutional change. a person who demands it NOW.

By that definition, and looking at all the out of control drug laws and military spending and what have you, I guess most of us are revolutionaries, but none of us are any good at it. why is that?

That is more a case of human dwellings being environmentally hospitable for the insects, who then perceive the region as part of their territory.  You can't very well politely ask them to leave and expect that to work; there's a large language barrier, and, from all indication, a cognizance one too.  Most insects don't care about human activity; a homeowner doesn't really register to the termite in his walls, nor does it understand the harm it is doing to the structure at large, nor the reproach of the owner.

What you are talking about is open antagonism, something which I would only hesitatingly attribute to Africanized bees (in their case, only to other bee colonies; to humans, they wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for virtually the whole colony reacting to a "perceived threat" at once).
