I think I'm made it pretty fucking translucent that I don't think highly of any form of institutionalised irrationality. So attempting to get my goat over the fact that I can see the Sun and not Jehovah/God/Allah doesn't really get either of us anywhere since I think it's all nonsense. I'm more than happy to go on the record as saying that I don't think there is any kind of God or mystic beings in existence, whether I can observe our local star or not.

Science has some near perfect theories on how life began on this planet without invoking little green men or any other kind of whimsical bullshit such as celestial bodies being in any way knowingly involved in our "creation".
