It's irrational mysticism. The moment you start deifying natural forces you have thrown yourself off the stable cliff of empiricism and on to the jagged, crippling rocks of mysticism.
But Sun is the natural force, which gave us life! So the Sun IS real Creator. No mysticism, just observation, that without Sun and Earth the crops wont grow and we will have no means of supporting our life.
