Why do we allow foreign agreements to control our lives, in our own countries?
We elect our governments to represent us, they basically are a projection of the citizens of the country, so why do we accept agreements that bypass our legal systems, courts, and even our constitutions.
Our government is there to govern us, protect us. We as citizens create the laws, through election of the representatives. Only because the majority of the people believe a certain action is unacceptable and requires punishment/rehabilitation, do we allow ourselves to be imprisoned.
So why do we allow a handful of snake-tongued monsters to create new rules, hidden from view and why do we allow the governments that accept this to reign?
