Running the page through the translator, it seems like he was attempting to argue against overzealous "cult of children" knee-jerk reactions of governments and parents, and doing so with a bit of hyperbole (so when some reactionary idiot comes to comment, it'll prove his point further). I can't tell how accurate that is, since online translators do hack jobs of translating and I can't read Cyrillic, so I'll have to claim ignorance on this.

No one forces Christians to read newer translations of the bible. Most devout Christians I run into have a plethora of translations in ownership. Perhaps reading the old, verbose translations will make them a bit smarter, ha! But, I jest (not really).
