About Ron Paul

So far, I believe that Ron Paul is the best candidate for president at this time. I haven't heard any real criticisms that aren't poking and prodding at things that don't matter.
I'm new to this board, and I am not educated in politics or politically savvy. What are your reasons that I should NOT vote for Ron Paul?

The only downside I can see to Ron Paul is that he is religious. Unfortunate that an otherwise consistently rational and intelligent man can take something, anything, on faith. But yes, the only negative points the opposite can come up with are petty, irrelevant things like him being popular on the internet the way no politician I know of is, which is apparently a bad thing.

Yeah, he's looking like the lesser evil at this point...

Ron Paul may be a religious creationist, but since he follows the constitution, he doesn't interject his religious views into policy.

HE'S NOT ELECTABLE! HE HAS NO CHANCE OF WINNING!

The status quo exists because everyone thinks there is no point trying because not enough people are trying.

And of course, the real reason internet popularity is a bad thing, is that he's not a Republicrat, like a certain Sultan^H^H^H^H^H^H President.

Why should his personal beliefs matter, one bit whatsoever to you?

Are you THAT anti-religion?

It would be one thing if he legislated based on his Christian beliefs like that lunatic Santorum would. But we know that's not the case with Ron Paul, so why does it matter when you know his whole career he has referred to the constitution for guidance, not the bible?

It matters terribly to me that a person hoping to be President of the United States of America will believe anything based on faith; instead of observing evidence and using reason to make sound decisions. I'm still going to vote for Ron Paul because, like I said, he has been consistently rational and intelligent but it pains me to watch his response to questions about homosexual soldiers.

Once again, /newpol/ continues to offer as much to politics as clam juice on a peanut butter sandwich.

Like the proverbial fish and motorbike or sumthin?
Science fiction is no more written for scientists than ghost stories are written for ghosts.
Don't remember who said this, though.

Do you have any reason to say that or any argument you'd like to make because criticising vague nothings brings as little to the table as you think /newpol/ does.

That's because American politics offer about as much, /newpol/, of course, naturally reflects that.

I'm no fan of politics, I'm just saying reading something like politics on 4chan is a farce, as you guys actually expect to better things in America simply by posting more shit.

But hence, that further proves that 4chan political threads = forum political threads in general = a big bullshit sundae.  Go ahead and continue talking about the shit you talk about, but you'll accomplish nothing here.

Meanwhile I gotta see who's throwing around all those fake SFBE threads that continue to piss me off.

I'm sorry, who told you that anyone here thinks posting here will change the world? Because no one in this thread has said anything to that effect or implied such a thing.

Please keep your nihilist bullshit to yourself.

Ah, world4ch. You're still kinda interesting, but not as much as you were years ago.
