why should we help bail out a currency that not only are we not a member, but in September 1992 we were forced out of the ERM and Germany did not lift a finger to help us.
Perhaps the German politicians of the time knew it would be the best thing for our economy as we could set our own interest rates and not be in a monetary straightjacket.
Perhaps Ireland,Greece.Purtugal,Italy and Spain wish the same had happened to them.
