Presidential Powers

What are you thoughts on executive power, especially during war time ("war time" meaning any time we are entered in "war" and our "national security" is at "risk")? Do you think the president should act without permission to keep the country safe in any way he/she deems necessary, or do you think they should seek out permission from congress before acting in any way?

The President is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. Congress doesn't have the power to conduct war. It's all clearly laid out in the Constitution. If someone in Congress thinks the President has done something unconstitutional then he's free to propose impeachment.
