Presidential Powers

What are you thoughts on executive power, especially during war time ("war time" meaning any time we are entered in "war" and our "national security" is at "risk")? Do you think the president should act without permission to keep the country safe in any way he/she deems necessary, or do you think they should seek out permission from congress before acting in any way?

He should act, but only when there's an actual threat. Not men in caves on the other side of the planet, waving AKs and telling stories around a campfire.
