As much as neckbeards on the internet are using the GOP debates as an excuse to jerk off to Pharyngula posts (as if they need an excuse) and throw around meaningless name-calling terms like "antivaxxers" and call everyone who disagrees with them lunatics and Jenny McCarthy cultists, these facts remain indisputable:
1. Mandatory vaccinations are undemocratic and unacceptable in a society that claims to be free
2. The manufacturer of the HPV vaccine is an ex-member of Perry's staff, and bribed him not only into supporting the mandatory vaccination, but also to introduce the vaccine to the public before it was properly tested
But of course, you won't see either of these discussed in the mainstream, because it's so much easier to go for the low-haning fruit.

The fuck? You're mad because people on the internet are name calling?
Also, 1. is clearly an opinion. I happen to agree with it but it's not an indisputible fact. "...before it was properly tested" sounds like an opinion too but I could be wrong. Can I get a source on that?

Michelle Bachmann was probably right in hinting that the mandatory vaccinations were just a money-grab by one of Perry's buddies.
Michelle Bachmann was wrong in stating that the vaccine causes mental retardation, and the fact that she would act so quickly on hearsay evidence calls into question her leadership skills and her intelligence.

Oh SHIT.
Now I agree with Michelle Bachmann? What is this world coming to?
Of course I would find this out on /newpol/

I'd rather have a greater chance of being alive than the freedom from getting vaccinated. Herd immunity makes your vaccination status my business. I'm sure glad to live in a world without Polio.
(And corruption in politics is the fucking worst, and fuck all that murky shit. But mandatory HPV vaccinations are still a good idea.)

Mandatory vaccinations are not necessarily undemocratic. If the people have the ability to decide whether or not there should be a policy of vaccinating every child then this does not violate anyone's democratic rights.

I have to agree with the OP, Michele Bachmann is 100% Right. There's not so muchas a drop of Left in her. Oh, you meant "correct" - my bad. In which case the OP is talking complete bullshit.

You anti-vaxxers will try any excuse to avoid having vaccinations. 2. The manufacturer of the HPV vaccine is an ex-member of Perry's staff, and bribed him not only into supporting the mandatory vaccination, but also to introduce the vaccine to the public before it was properly tested [citation needed], and preferably not from the DailyMail, World Nut Daily, or Fox News.
