Paul "Semen" Staines made a big thing about the public desire for a return to capital punishment. He creates a petition on the government's new e-petitions portal, and says it'll easily be the most heavily-supported petition on the site. Then someone created a counter-petition to keep capital punishment in abeyance, which has attracted almost twice as many signatures. Current power rankings:
1. Don't bring back capital punishment
2. Keep F1 free-to-air
3. Cheaper fuel
4. Bring back capital punishment
5. EU withdrawal referendum - fast catching up
Stay classy, Guido.
