Twenty years isn't long enough for a perfect society to develop.  What I would like to see happen though would be a rise in atheism to make up about 30% of the total population

Atheism isn't a religion. A religion is a set of beliefs. Atheism is a single belief that would be accompanied by various other possible beliefs to form ones own belief system.

Atheism can be used in a religion, you could have a commandment saying "there is no god" or whatever.

So, logically, if the the problem is religion there is no point harking on about atheism all the time, you need to be more specific.

The wars end. Defense spending is slashed down to 25 billion dollars a year, hardware like tanks and ships are sold off. A large national guard and a few 'training' corps for rapid mobilization of our national guard in the event of war is created to keep employment up but cut spending. Industry is retooled from munitions and tanks to solar thermal power plant production. Our national guard is trained in building them, and we cover Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Nevada, and SoCal with solar thermal power plants. We build a pipeline from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean that pumps sea water to these power plants. The sea water is repeatedly boiled and eventually condensed and used for irrigation projects throughout the southwest for agricultural production.

The energy is used to power homes but also is used to split water and make Oxygen and hydrogen, and then into methane and on into synthetic gasoline and diesel which is distributed as a cheap fuel for automobiles across the country.

Next, we dredge out large portions of Gulf and South East coasts into dykes and use them as flood/hurricane buffers while simultaneously using the space for raising fish, growing algae for rocket fuel (to help our orbital tether and lunar colonization mission along), and more solar thermal power plants and desalinization plants.

Begin refilling the aquifers and lakes with our water. Americans now are set for jobs, fuels, electricity, food, and fresh water for the next ten generations. They no longer need to bully the world for anything since they can make it all for themselves. National security and prosperity is reached, and America is free to spend its labor kicking out spics and niggers and replacing all its agriculture with automated greenhouses and reducing the cost of having children so that its white population can boom up to a billion or two. Sorry, China, this isn't your century after all! </dream>

There are plenty of anglo-saxons who sell us out and live a life of power and treason up in the 1% of the world with the Jews. It's not about race, it's about class. The rich vs the poor. Do you think Lakshmi Mittal gives a shit about the impoverished rural villagers in South India? A society with a culture that values technology and intelligence, does not bully everyone into submission and rewards hard work and enthusiasm instead of persecute anyone trying to make the world a little better for everyone to live in.

My utopia for this planet is that it is a dead, lifeless rock. Devoid of any form of living creature. Because everything sucks and everything needs to die. Fuck existence I'll probably kill myself when I get cut off from Social Security because of the debt default.

Goodwill in accordance with freewill - everyone is free to do whatever they wish, and to think whatever they wish, but they choose to be selfless and care for others.
