When I view the tomb paintings of Ramses I do not instantly believe he was 50 foot tall and conversed with the gods, neither do I pretend nothing can be interpreted from the tomb paintings and that Ramses never existed, I presume Ramses was an ordinary human who had a position of authority in ancient Egypt. How is this mental process difficult to understand?
