I've lived through about seven so called "end of days." Barring death from natural cause or accident, I'll probably live through the rest of them too. So will Christianity.

Just because there'd be no value in Christianity doesn't mean there could not be any cosmic keystones to destabilize.

The bible itself says that no one knows when the events described in revelations will occur and even in the context of the many stretched interpretations of the bible the idea of the rapture with people disappearing and so forth is plain wrong.

Rapture is just an American invention, has nothing to do with real Christianity.

Can't really debunk any religion, unfortunately. Then again you can't prove that there aren't invisible unicorns floating around. Doesn't make it rational. Besides even if the bible did claim that the world was going to end around a certain time and it didn't there would still be believers, except they'd say that you shouldn't interpret it in literal way, or something like like that. Evolution, for instance, doesn't really debunk Christianity.
