Yup, they will.
First buying sex is outlawed, and then, because this forces the business underground, selling sex is outlawed too, and sex workers can expect cops wanting to rape them as well. Once sex workers can no longer speak up in public, the bashing of them can escalate into every cop show promoting killing prostitutes for being such a "danger to society", brainwashing the public into genocide.
Then in a few years, it's all the skaters turn, because they look kind of shady, don't they? Well, at least the media will bring up made up examples of shady skaters, writers will write fiction about it, and soon the government finds another thing to ban.
