I'd like you cunts that think he isn't to explain something to me. Why would the US risk faking it when Bin Laden could simply make a video appearance if he were still alive? He'd have good reason to do it too since it would hurt the US government to be caught pulling such a big and obvious hoax.

Now, I do happen to believe he was killed in the raid our gov't claimed to kill him in (or at least captured), but, if we play Devil's Avocado here, we could say that he died of kidney failure in the safety of a cave or house years ago. The claim of victory may have been politically timed based on a good bet that he had passed on.

The whole reason I believe he was killed by the SEALs (and I would be suspicious otherwise) is Pakistan's reaction. Why would their own government admit that only junior members of the military knew of his whereabout, but not senior members? Why admit any fault if they had good reason to believe he wasn't killed in the raid? I mean, shit, US depends on Pakistan allowing our logistical chain to supply our dudes in Afghanistan, so it's not like they'd lose the billions they have in foreign aid by not playing along with our story. They just get exposed as more corrupt, give India more material against them, etc. for the admission that some protected bin Laden.
