Isn't depleted uranium radioactive waste from nuclear reactors?

From what I've heard it was really expensive to dispose of it properly until some cunt thought: "this stuff's hard, lets use it to make penetrating bullets and instead of paying to dispose it we'll get fucking rich selling it."

Well, if you've got shares in the companies making them it might be a good idea. In any other case it sucks.
