Unemployment at two year low

Good news today, seems like job creation is finally picking up at a steady pace.  Dropping a full percentage point over the past four months.  I imagine it will rise back up to +9% as more people return to the job market and begin looking for work again.

Unfortunately for me as a public worker, I probably won't be seeing a rise in hours despite this fact as the government continues to shed jobs at the state level. :(

Corporate profits are soaring, the economy has stabilized.  His economic policies pulled us out of recession and brought back growth.

He never said that unemployment wouldn't surpass 8%

It's just something republicans claimed he said, and they did it enough times for you to believe that hogwash.

Not to mention that jobs have been created at a rate that would reduce unemployment to near normal levels before his next election.

He also did not campaign on ending 2 wars.  He campaigned on drawing down in iraq to increase troop levels in afghanistan.  Yeah, he was pro-war.  Also people act like he didn't try to close gitmo, he wasn't deliberately breaking a promise there.  He just could not keep it.

Also I have not seen my health care costs rise a single cent and I have not seen any reporting on skyrocketing costs.  The bill was designed to reduce costs, so I don't see how you come to the conclusion that it does the opposite, unless you think the president is a moron.  Most of the measures won't even go into effect till 2014 so you're complaining before you ever see the effects of the bill.
