Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people. From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare they have become the tools of corrupt interests, which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.

Any time people try to organize into a cohesive force there will always be a corrupting force within the ranks. More or less I think the United States has now bred itself a nice corrupt political power in DC, where most of us can't tell what the hell is going on anymore.

They will almost always do as much as they can get away with, even the most honest and genuinely good willed person can get sucked into it out of necessity or just because they are human, going on a moral crusade against washington won't accomplish anything except throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The only thing that can be done is to make practical alterations to close off loopholes, ensure representatives are presented with a framework to achieve their assigned tasks rather than arbitrary authority and be careful not to upset anti-corruption measures put in place.

Corruption/Greed are human nature that is why everywhere you go, someone is fucking someone else over.

You need a system that is Rubust enough to limit corruptiom.

Imagine you were in charge of who gets a Blow Job. Would you be getting more blow jobs than the average. Of course you would.
