Abortion

If legally speaking our lives began at the moment of conception instead of the moment of birth (you'll be 9 months old at birth), then wouldn't abortion then become murder?

I didn't mean for it too sound like I don't value life. I was just saying that people use life as a tag for anything they wish to protect because it has an impact when you say it; but as soon as we begin to talk about microorganisms or plants or what-have-you people seem to forget that those are alive as well.
Then of course we aren't as worried about protecting plants and cows or similar forms of life because we find that we can utilize it and use it for our own good. It doesn't make other forms of life any less alive than say, an embryo.
