If legally speaking our lives began at the moment of conception instead of the moment of birth (you'll be 9 months old at birth), then wouldn't abortion then become murder?

Truthfully from a biologic standpoint a baby is just a parasite until it comes out of the womb. Life is just a name we attribute to things so we feel it is special; so that we can justify protecting it. On the other hand no one is going to significant lengths to protect the millions of E. coli in my gut.
