Actually if the Glass–Steagall Act wasn't removed, the economic impact wouldn't be anywhere as bad, we'd just be in yet another small recession.
I mostly agree with libertarian principles both socially and for the most part economically, but the big banks and the fat cats on Wall Street
need to be chained down somehow.
