1) Will President Obama be successful in his first term as president? Explain.
No. He's pissed off the United States people, and his Congress will lose in November.

2) Would you support a complete withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq this year? Explain. Only if the nation is "stable."

3) What is your opinion about the U.S. government?
It's too big. I'm a Reagan conservative. It was Reagan that said the ten worst words in the English language are "Hi, I'm from the government, and I'm here to help.

4) Do you think health care should be provided by the government for free? Why or why not?
No, because somebody's gotta pay for it. The top 1% of the nations pays 40% of the income tax, and the top 10% pays 71%. A "free" health care plan will only burden those people, the ones who employ the rest of the nation, more. Also, the government can't run Medicare, Medicaid, Amtrak, Social Security, Iraq, Afghanistan or Cash for Clunkers. How can it run a national health care program?

5) Do you agree with the current U.S. welfare system? Explain.
I feel that we live in too much of a nanny state. Unemployment benefits, that were extended in the stimulus package, only kept people out of work longer. Also, many on welfare use the money to buy drugs. Some even get creative and use food stamps to buy cases of bottled water, return the bottles, and use the money to buy beer.

For all the faults of the NHS I prefer it to the US system

Will President Obama be successful in his first term as president? Explain.

You should be more specific here, since successful can be many things:
- does it mean sucessful as in will he keep his job? ... well, DUH!
- does it mean successful as in will he accomplish all the things he promised in his election campaing? another no brainer, no
- how about: will he be reelected? nope.
- will he be successful in taking over the world and become the master of the universe? ...
Shall I keep going?

Would you support a complete withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq this year? Explain.
Oh you mean now that we have fucked them over enough (we have been at it since before desert storm) we should just up and leave? well it probably would be the best thing we could do for the iraqi people, as long as we provide funds and logistics for them to rebuild their country. Of course none of this is giong to happen in the forseable future, since this war (or any war for that matter) is way too efficient as a means to exploit the poor and make the richest people even richer.

3) What is your opinion about the U.S. government?

it is a very efficient institution! well, at least we don't have many billionairs complaining. as for the rest of us, it should be "restructured". (thank good you forgot to write "Explain" ;-))

4) Do you think health care should be provided by the government for free? Why or why not?

good health - in the richest, most powerful country on the planet - should not be a luxury item but rather a fundamental right. after all, without our health we have nothing! if healthcare was payed for entirely through a single payer system the cost of health care might not be twice as high in the u.s. on average as compared to other developed nations. i have no problem if my doctor does not drive a ferrari, nor does the pharma industry need to be the industry with the highest profit margin. and the argument that healthcare is better then in those "other developed nations" is not a valid one either, not accross the board any way. from experiance i can say i would rather go to a doctor in germany then in the united states, unless i am a millioniare and can afford the best of the best of the best. unfortunately i am not, working on it though ;-). the most obvious way to finance it would of course be to legalize marijuana and collect mad taxes on it :-D.

5) Do you agree with the current U.S. welfare system? Explain.
no. i would like qualify that statement, but i won't. mostly because i don't know much about how it works. but in the end, if a government is able ti animate "the industry" to create enoug work so that everybody is gainfully employed, the "problem" of welfare could be largely eliminated.

as for email, like nr 3 said: lol!
