Then then, that is totally what it meant. It was meant literally to tell the public to absolutely never be concerned about people who happen to be muslims, this is the BBC we're talking about, a public business which has very stringent checks on what they publish or air.
I don't care about the number of muslims anymore, the real problem is the fact people are intimidated by terrorism into giving muslims special privileges. They should be treated like you would any other normal human, with suspicion bordering on paranoia.
