please people of 4 chan hear me out comcast has the worst workers rights in the country if anyone can help please do something like terming there service with them or something

Can't. Comcast has the best price where I live and there really aren't any alternatives here. It's either Comcast or no Internet at all. Corporations do bad things unfortunately. The day that corporate welfare is done and over with is the day we can all rejoice.
Attacking Comcast is just slicing at one of the branches at the problem and not attacking it at the root. You're wasting your time, IMO.

So unless you're attacking the main problem, it's a waste altogether? That's a bit discouraging, if you ask me.

There ought to be a law preventing one company from controlling all options for a service. Someone should do that.

Comcast's strong labor policy will certainly give them an advantage over their competitors, I will have to make a large investment.

I heard about that with Comcast and the techs dieing i also heard they had one of the widows arrested for crieing in there office while she was trying to get some personal things he left there. Comcast is a crappy company I wont go for them thanks for the post

I know. But if you're actually successful in killing Comcast, another corrupt corporation will just take its place. That's how the system works these days. You have to strike the problem at the root. Comcast is just one branch of many that is a part of this large tree that is referred to as "corporatism". It is that that needs to be killed.

Comcast is overpriced, oversold, has notoriously atrocious customer service, and their signal craps out constantly. Fuck that shit. I just signed up for a new service called Xfinity, which promises to be much better in ever way!

I'm not afraid of one corporation, but what can I do? I'm just one individual. Plus, as it was mentioned previously, you manage to kill off Comcast, another corrupt corporation will take its place.

You don't have to do anything, stop using their products and services. No one has a gun to your head here.
>>17
I would do that, but unfortunately Comcast holds a monopoly here. Verizon may roll out FIOS here, but nobody knows for sure. Also, the only problem I've had with Comcast, is the TV that I don't watch much of anyway, and the Internet service is very good. Over the 11 years that I've had it, I had maybe 9 or 10 days with no service over that period of time.

They don't hold a monopoly, you're just too lazy to find alternatives. If that's the economic niche Comcast uses to support it's executive's opulent lifestyles then I will happily make a cash donation to them instead of giving to charity, since that would do a lot more good than saving some starving nigger babies.

Horrible labor relations is a good thing, if they shut up and put up and don't strike.

There are alternatives, but they suck hard. If that's the economic niche Comcast uses to support it's executive's opulent lifestyles then I will happily make a cash donation to them instead of giving to charity, since that would do a lot more good than saving some starving nigger babies.
Umm... okay.
Of course, you can continue to make assumptions about what goes on with (what little of course) ISP service goes on where I live and about me.

Corporations actually kill themselves (if the corporate welfare goes away), then the news reports on it. So, sorry to say, no "canceling out" here.

Perhaps, but this is not always the case and news certainly is an influential factor. Also, in the end, if the corporations cancel themselves out it's pretty much the same.
>>29
No, news just reports on it after shit hits the fan. The only thing the news does is it has the power to turn the failed corporation into a house hold name (like Enron for example).
Also, I don't know why people keep bumping this thread. It's not like Comcast is the only corp that kills for profit.
The democratic people's republic was supposed to be a worker's paradise based on logical rational principles which shed light on the truth free from superstition, where the priority of the state is food and medicine for every family and to prevent exploitation, but obviously that didn't turn out very well. Some say organisations based on people's best qualities will reflect them and likewise those based on our worst qualities will do the same, I say organisations are needed in order to control our worst qualities in the first place and this should be their goal.
I for one would rather work for Comcast than Kim Jong Il, both are greedy and amoral, the difference is comcast's demonic hatred and insatiable lust for wealth is directed towards providing internet services.
>>31
Well communism certainly isn't the solution. I'd like to discuss this on a much deeper level, being that Comcast is a product of corporatism and corporate welfare from statist intervention into the economy, but they're not the only one. Like it was said in this thread earlier, if you manage to successfully kill off Comcast, another entity will take its place and be just as bad. Comcast is just one little bad apple that's part of this giant tree full of bad apples.
And that's all I have to say about that.

You're just a bunch of pussys who never do anything BUT say theres nothing you can do about it thanks original poster att here i come at least they have a union
>>39
Surely you jest! Nah, this thread just keeps getting bumped for no reason. Comcast is a bad company, so is Verizon, so is AT&T, so is Cablevision. Comcast killing for profit isn't exactly new. I see they're sort of trying to change their name to XFINITY to avoid all the bad publicity, lol it's gonna backfire on them.
