The Canada That Can Say No

Name: Anonymous 2010-01-05 19:36

Canada needs to learn how to say NO.  We must stand up for our country; fight negative Canadian stereotypes; become a leader, not a follower.

If you're with me say 'aye'!

'eh'?

If our politicians weren't a bunch of idiots, this might actually happen. Harper has no backbone whatsoever, and neither do any of the other leaders.

I fuckin loved bags of milk.  Now it comes in a sanitary jug.  I miss milkbags. Just like momma used to make it. :0

Nobody in Canada or Europe actually wants to lead.

Obama gave Europe a chance to stand up and lead. He gave Europe a choice and America would follow.

But nooooooo, you know what's the fist thing they did? Their leaders started going on TV whining and bitching that they wouldn't do anything until the Americans made the first move (this was back then regarding the financial crisis).

For the first time, during the financial crisis, Europe had the decision to lead the world, but then they showed their true colors that Europeans do not have the guts or the will to lead the free world. And Canada is worse than Europeans when it comes to global politics. Canada is the proverbial back-seat passenger.

Next time you want to question America's position as the leader of the free world, ask yourself if you'd be willing to take it up instead. If your answer is no, then shut the fuck up.

Gordon Brown made the first move, then claimed he saved the world. That might have been true if his first move was to declare that state intervention in the economy should be limited and straight monetarist economic policy was necessary to eliminate accounting fraud and prevent investment bubbles, but instead he decided to be a socialist.

HINT: Canada, the United States, and nearly all of Europe (that being mostly the nations that make up the European Union and especially the Eurozone) are all run by the same people.

They are run by a vast oligarchy with similiar interests. You only think cynicism is the truth because of your strong emotional connection to calling other people tools and sheep, while cynicism generates skepticism which is essential for finding the truth, once skepticism has been accomplished it is only an impediment to the truth.

If there was a tiny clique ruling the world why would they produce michael moore documentaries and movies like "fight club"?

Agreed.
You only think cynicism is the truth because of your strong emotional connection to calling other people tools and sheep
You have me completely wrong, and I don't call people that who are now...let's say *ahem*, "woken up".
while cynicism generates skepticism which is essential for finding the truth,
Depends on how you look at it. My motivation for finding the truth is the thirst for knowledge, it's absolute blessing quenched when discovering truth.
once skepticism has been accomplished it is only an impediment to the truth.
I wouldn't know about that since I don't feel that way.
If there was a tiny clique ruling the world why would they produce michael moore documentaries and movies like "fight club"?
To spice things up?
