So Obama wants to increase troop numbers (Bush policy) and he just reappointed Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke (architect of bush economy). He also seems to be relenting on his healthcare reform bill. The only real change he did was close Guantanomo bay and even that was seen as populist and rash. Change my foot.

Just want to correct you there, Ben Bernanke was not the architect of the Bush Administration. The Chairman of the Fed and the rest of the board of governors are bipartisan, much like the Supreme Court. They are among best economists in the world. A president does not hold any power over what the Fed does.
