The ironic thing is that the Vietnam war was escalated by a progressive Democrat president. To think, all those hippies absolutely hated the Democrats! Now after the Bush administration, the Republicans are the bad guys.

This is why I vote third party. Heh. At least when I'm voting, I vote with principal and not "the lesser of the two evils".

I don't see anything wrong with that really democratically(obviously on a moral level the reasoning behind the vote is a bit tenuous ,cough liberal white guilt cough)

I still think that Obama was a significantly better choice than the opposition (seriously, Obama knows a lot more about what he's doing than Palin did. There may have been better candidates, but the choice we had between the two main parties was pretty black and white (oh ho ho double entendre)

A democrat victory was inevitable, the real election was the democrat primaries and at the democrat primaries voters proved they were racist by choosing Obama over better candidates. Don't get me wrong, Obama is intelligent and capable of being president and is likely to have been the best candidate after 8 years experience as secretary of state or something, at the moment though he is proving to be a lightweight.
