Imaginary situation which might apply to the current situation:
America and/or it's allies, ending up to a non-negotiable situation would engage into fierce combat with Russian Forces and it's eastern allies(most asian countries) and some baltic countries. What would happen, why when and with what consequences? Would be nice to hear opinions and reasons for their opinions.

Global thermonuclear war, anyone left still alive probably won't even care what it was about as they will be too busy trying not to die.

As Einstein once said: "I don't know with what kind of weapons WWIII will be fought but I know those of WWIV: Sicks and stones!"

Maybe Einstein was talking about bombing the earth with asteroids. Although I don't see how sticks fit into that theory.

You drop a stick from orbit, it does a hell of a lot of damage. Just need a stick that won't burn up on re-entry.
Just watch the 1983 film WarGames. If World War III broke out, there would be no winners.

Well they've been occupied by the Soviet Union for 50 years and when the Nazi's came they joined them and they still honor their Waffen-SS soldiers for fighting against the SU.
