World War 2 and the Holocaust

Hitler should not have done the holocaust during World War II. If he had simply put it off, he wouldn't have wasted resources killing jews, and could have actually won. In fact, it would have made more sense for him to use them as suicide troops. Send them out on suicide missions. If they succeed, he wins, if they die, he gets rid of some jews.

Out of interest, didn't the USA use the Holocaust as a reason for war, after being specifically anti-semetic for a large period of the war? (probable biased view here, just read an article on responses to the Protocols).
