Businesses and doctors make ideological or ethical judgements about scientific conclusions every day when judging which methods or practices are best, these judgements are not immediately subjective if their beliefs did not affect the conclusion. Of course it's the logical basis for the ideology/ethics themselves which determines this.
All I am doing is observing the process of heredity and judging that it is better for future generations to possess desirable genes, if I were to do the opposite I would state that it is better if no one had undesirable genes thus we should pretend social darwinism is inhumane and everyone is more alike than different.
