I played Hearts of Iron 2 as the Soviet Union. I had already defeated the Hitlerites in 1943, so I declared war on Japan (who had taken over entire China and India). After pushing the Japs out of mainland Asia I built dozens of transports to invade Japan. Many tens of thousands of good Soviet men were lost in the seas due to the Japanese navy (I had no warships at all) but I eventually succeeded! The Japs are no more. After that I declared war on Spain, Turkey and the Allies so I could capture Gibraltar and Suez. My industrial capacity is twice that of the US, so now I am cranking out Battleships and escorts (Battleships are way cooler than Carriers IMO). The US and UK had a combined fleet of 420 ships, I took them down to 300 ships so far. With my control over the mediterranean, I have also trapped about 50 US divisions there. I'm losing the sea war in the far east due to a US fleet of 5 carriers and escorts, but I'm winning the sea battle around Britain!
Soon I will bring socialism to Africa.

i downloaded HOI2 apon request from /k/ and I played a the barbarossa and spanish civil war scenarios, I've stopped playing because games take so long and if I make one tiny mistake I screw everything up, I did win the spanish civil war though, as both franco and the communists
