What we have here is an unusually thoughtful, though verbose, fellow calling himself Mencius Moldbug, who claims to have deprogrammed himself and purged himself of the agitprop disguised as American History we are all taught in school by means of hallucinogens and sheer willpower.
He appears to have reached a number of quite audacious conclusions about our society and the future of the West. Some of his more controversial ideas are:
Western democracy as currently practiced is self-destructive and disintegrating inexorably towards collapse, and already bears a striking resemblance to the Soviet Empire under Brezhnev combined with the Dilbert comic strip.
Conservatism and conservatives are stupid and ineffectual because they treat the Left as friendly rivals while the Left treats them as mortal enemies. Nonetheless conservatives want to "go along to get along," and year by year become ever less distinguishable from, say, Ted Kennedy, or Joe Slovo. "Pas d'ennemis a gauche, pas d'amis a droit," and for God's sake don't rock the boat. Which is why they are losers, and which is why the GOP's much-ballyhooed "big tent" opens only to the left and never to the right--environmentalist wackos are welcome, but libertarians? White nationalists? Those weirdos? NEVER! This is why the GOP is a joke.
In the short term, the Left is winning, and this is why the political talent accumulates on the left side of the spectrum. It's not a conspiracy, it's self-organizing and self-perpetuating.
In the long run, Western Civilization is as doomed as Fifth Century Rome. Multiculturalism and institutionalized pacifism are the Left's holies of all holies, and wherever they are held up as ideals, in rather short order the barbarians are looting the king's castle, raping the womenfolk and the cattle, and building big pretty bonfires from Bibles and copies of Heather Has Two Mommies. Oh, you object to this? What, are you anti-barbarian? That's RACIST!
He has some other insights as well, such as the nature and centers of power in the West today. Which will probably not be what you think, and one of his central theses is that the important decisions are being made by people who do not realize that they are, for example, creating US foreign policy.
I know some of you are already yelling "hyuk hyuk, TEE ELL DEE ARR," and to you I say "gb2/b/," but if anyone here is still reading this, c'mon by his blawg and read a while. Commentary from Anonymous would be nothing if not a bracing blast of fresh cold sea air in the insular little lagoon of tripfaggotry that is Blogspot anyway.
