The passing of the "stimulus" package (which is in reality just more bailouts) is yet another huge block of spending after many years of huge yearly budgets. It won't work ... much like you can't work when continuing to borrow money when you can't pay your bills in the first place.
Obama can't be that stupid, so he knows he's only delaying things just to cause a much more severe crash.
