Why the fuck is everyone saying that Obama getting elected is "the dream come true"

Can anyone tell me WHERE Luther King Jr said "one day.....there shall be a black president, and it shall be a GLORIOUS day! Hallelujah chikkin watermelon mofucka". He NEVER said anything about black presidents. He fucking wanted people to get along.

Obama getting elected has absolutely nothing to do with that other than white people (and non blacks)not being prejudice and voting based on race. When he won the nomination and was getting votes based on the issues, THATS when the dream came true;when a black candidate was viable and concentrated on the issues and had a chance to win.

Shit, if he said "ILL EAT YO COUCH NIGGA" and didnt get elected, it would be "a sad day, and proof that America has made no progress". He wasn't battling a tyranical Satan Sadam Bin Castro and now gets a heros welcome. He won a fucking election. I doubt blacks were getting hosed down because they wanted a black president. Shit, blacks have run for president before, THATS when the dream "came true"....over 20 years ago.
