The Second Great Depression

Name: Anonymous 2009-01-03 5:56

Now I am watching something on the History Channel about the current resection and how this could lead to depression. Someone please tell me if Obama's hope and change could prevent such things from happening. How the fuck am I going to get my action figure shop off the ground now?

Well I fail to see what that has to do with China's nuclear capability, missile defense systems and whether the ICBM always gets through or not, but I suppose I was multi-track drifting.

Unemployment will rise as US debt rises and foreign credit runs dry, the taxpayer will feel the pinch and since the rich will be targeted, businesses will close and people will lose their jobs and so a few politicans don't. Ultimately it's the state's fault, the state both failed to regulate where it should and when it did regulate it did so with little regard for the consequences. You see there are no rational principles behind the state's policy decisions, the antiquated keynesian system is still in wide use even though professional economists across the globe have since progressed to more advanced in depth pragmatic theories. They essentially have a free hand to do as they wish since the voter is so distant from the causes and effects of their policies it is difficult even for investigative journalists to obtain the evidence they need to make a review and assuming this occurs politicians are so immersed in the haze of spin doctoring and the usual low politics of washington there is little that can be done to make them accountable.
