Economic bailout..

Are they purchasing the mortgages for market value, or for what the sellers paid for the mortgages? Because it says in title I, section 101:
>Secretary shall ... prevent the sale of a troubled asset to the Secretary at a higher price than what the seller paid to purchase the asset
But if we even paid as much as the sellers paid, it would probably be a big overpayment with the current market..

Please tell me it is just one DUMBFUCK who repeatedly uses that phrase, because it is patently retarded. It is called 'Correlation does not ALWAYS imply causation,' and, er, uncalled for in this situation. Stating that correlation is not causation is a pretty much pointless general truth.

While there are some situations where correlation does not imply causation and it is indeed erroneous, it does not mean that it is and can be called a fallacy every time, dumbfuck. If it is anyone's now, it is yours.
