Shit sucked.  They didn't discuss anything new.  They just rambled out their usual talking points.

And the audience members asking questions were so fucking retarded it was sad.  They were obviously screened, but damn...I'm surprised they could even spit out an entire sentence of coherent English.

It wasn't just the people, the questions were retarded too.  The 'evil empire' question might as well have been phrased "Will you preemptively destroy any influence you may be able to exert in the world before you even have the job?"  And that last question (which both candidates understandably sidestepped) could just as well have been "Please say some stupid shit that can be chopped up into attack ads to be run against you for the rest of the month."

It was a boring debate, with a shit format, shit questions, and shitty moderation.

The fact that this guy is up there, despite how he fails to hide what he really stands and his subpar oratory skills, is a testament to how much american democrats fail.
