The federal reserve's foolish practice of constantly cutting interest rates has made all topics less interesting than they were before. Combined with newfag summer /newpol/ is experiencing stagflation of ideas, resulting in a flood of topics of lower value.

But by never facing problems we can never figure out ways to deal with them. It's like the immune system, if you don't let your kid play outside and keep them inside an obsessively sterilised home then their immune systems will never be exposed to the multitudes of harmless bacteria they need to learn how to deal with the harmful bacteria when it comes along and will get chicken pox when they are 14 etc..
