Exxon Mobile made $40.61 billion in profit last year. That's $1300/sec. Global demand is ~90 million barrels/day. 42 US gal/barrel. Equals 2.8 billion gal/day equals 32,400 gal/sec. Exxon produces about 3% of that, equals 972 gal/sec, equals an average $1.33 profit per gallon, but profit margins have been steadily increasing, putting profit per gallon now at around $1.50. That's fucking ridiculous and it's ruining the fucking economy.
