ITT we discuss how and why did issues of nationality and/or ethnicity cause major European wars in the twentieth century, and why have the issues remained potent sources of discontent even during peacetime.

The First World War's Hitler was the Kaiser, there are surprising similarities. Another thing is that The Second World War was not so clear-cut, there are many factors including Hitlers rise to power, failure of the west to prevent the war and some factors from the First World War like arms race etc.
