This one time I left my front door open for 1 minute whilst going back inside to look for something and when I come back I see this black guy without a t-shirt walking out my door with 1 of my shoes. So I try to run him down, he drops my shoe, I foolishly pick it up instead of keeping chase (I was startled, unexpectedly broken out of my normality shell as it were) and he sprints off. Didn't see his face.. But seriously.. 1 shoe... Why steal 1 shoe? The other shoe was right next to it, why the fuck would you steal just 1 shoe? Was he going to send me a note saying "leave $10 in a sealed envelope in the 3rd radiator at the gallery at 19:00 tommorrow or the shoe gets it."?
