Solution to America's High Health Care Costs

Name: Anonymous 2008-04-01 0:37

STOP EATING SO MANY GOD DAMN CHEESEBURGERS YOU FATASS PIGS.

For real, when Americans eat a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke for lunch, then wash it down with a tub of ice cream, it doesn't really come as a shocker that there's gonna be a nation of fatasses (and UNHEALTHY people) with all kinds of health problems.

More health problems = more demand for health care, and thus higher costs.

If we are going to have a national health care system, I say we have a fatass tax.  If you weigh over X amount, for each pound over X amount you pay Y amount more in taxes.

I don't want to pay higher taxes to pay for sluts who need abortions or fatasses who can't stop stuffing their faces with double bacon cheeseburgers and ice cream.

Protip for America:  maybe if you improved your diet your health care costs wouldn't be so god damn high.

If we have a national health care system that will mean that the libfags are in power.  They aren't going to persecute anyone but people who work for a living.  No, instead they'll baaaaw up a campaign to blame corporations on obesity and they'll institute new programs to blow shit tons of money on.  They'll subsidize personal trainers for all the fatasses.

On the other hand the tax burden forced upon americans at the point will probably be so high they won't have enough extra money to buy junk food.  Whatever happens we all lose.

The problem then becomes one of "quality of life" instead of "quantity of life".  If you're gonna try to make me live in your world, you're gonna have to come into mine and draw me out.

You WON'T like my world.  At all.

Now, shut the fuck up and pass me another cheeseburger, or you'll never want to sleep again.

No, the reason America has high healthcare costs is because poor people can't afford to pay, and insurance companies try not to pay for the shit they are contractually obligated to, so hospitals have to pass the loss somewhere. Your shitty logic is shitty.

Bad lifestyles are certainly part of the blame.

However, the out-of-control profit motive is also very much to blame.

There's plenty of blame to go around.  Don't ignore all the important elements.  Americans are out of shape.  They expect too much from a technological health-care system.  And they apply for services from corporations who want to deliver ZERO services.

The end product is the highly dysfunctional system that we have today -- a system that costs MORE per capita than any other system on earth (yes, that means ALL OTHER socialized-medicine systems are cheaper) yet has over 30 other nations delivering better care for the money.

There is also a distinct lack of preventative health treatment in the US.  The entire system is built around fixing you up AFTER you get sick/hurt/crazy/etc..  Spending a few hundred million in the way of prevention could save us Billions in post-sickness "health care"

Preventative health treatment in the US smells like welfare to the vast majority of money snobs.  Conclusion:  It can't be tolerated.  So the hospitals continue to load up with too-far-gone sick people who incur more and more costs, and even write-offs don't manage such costs anymore, and so more and more tax money has to make up the difference, and then you have socialized medicine anyways ... except it costs more, is less honest, and does less good.  The snobs continue to feel better about themselves, however.  Blot blot blot -- they continue to BLOT out reality.

We make all sorts of sacrifices at the expense of healthcare everyday because it just wouldn't be worth living if we did not. Alcohol, speed limits over 30, some sports and unprotected sex are all liberties we ought to be able to do without restriction even though they are dangerous. Perhaps it is time to realise that further totalitarianism is not the answer and people should be left to make their own decisions, I admit that the state should at least create public information broadcasts like it did during the 50s but nothing should be forced on people, especially having to pay for the medical costs of other people's risky decisions.

Liberties are fine if you don't care about the bus-load of children you killed when you lost control of your sports car.

Solution:  Ask for a green card before treating anyone who looks like they're from south of the border.

Democrats will haul your ass into court and literally raep that anus with a rectangular law book before they ever allow that to happen.  If you cut off the benefits, the immigrants won't come here and see the Democratic Party light.

Republicans won't allow it either, since they want the dirt-cheap labor for their corporations.

End Solution:  You lose, and the country loses, and La Raza gets the Aztlan it always dreamed of.

I awlways thought healthcare was expenisve because of our bloated bureaucracy and our lawsuit driven culture.

I'm sueing you for defamation and slander of my culture, which is not lawsuit driven at all.

Then wouldn't both parties be admitting to exploiting the poor and ignorant.  I suppose it's much better to have a culture based on lies and exploitation rather than one that enforces its immigration laws, lol.

Yeah, the foundations of the US are all fucking wrong.  Health Care is just symptom of all the other diseases the country is filled with.
