the non-oil crisis

i heard that Alaska has enough oil to supply America for 200 years. has anyone else heard something similar?

Yea because the oil in Iraq and places like that is easy to collect and ship, but Alaskan oil i heard isn't fare off. i heard from an a not to trust worthy sauce that if we ran on just Alaskan oil the price would be about 1.50 at the pump for 200 years.
