liberal and conservative differences

Name: Anonymous 2008-03-06 5:20

-I think the main difference is liberals support things that are beneficial to other groups, at the expense of their own. If they are against something America does it's usually because it's harmful to it's harmful to some third world foreign people, not because it's harmful to America.

-The underlying belief of (modern day) liberals is in "equality" but they have misinterpreted the Founding Fathers' classically liberal calls for equal RIGHTS into thinking America was founded on the absurd idea that every country/race/civilization/lifestyle/idea is of equal VALUE.

-Conservatives are proud of their past, liberals think America's history is shameful, other than the progress "they" have made since the 60s cultural revolution and "civil rights" era.

-Liberals think everything they do is "progress" unable to see the West is actually in decline. We are seeing the fall of the world's greatest civilization here. Rome was conquered by barbarians from within because they kept multiplying, the same thing is happening here. Westerners are weak in spirit, guilty of their past and dying out. A global catastrophe like an energy shortage or global warming could be the final nail in the coffin and put us back into another dark age, where we will have to wait perhaps hundreds of years for another great civilization to rise from the ashes.

Feel free to add some more...

A culture that was formed from a mix of other cultures, and has now spread all over the world as a means through which to most effectively drive people into apathy and anti-political views. How that can be described as 'bending over', I don't know.
