Jazz and other musical styles contributed immensely to the culture of America and the world. If there were no black people to create Jazz, we would be stuck with show tunes, barbershop, and oldies, with no knowledge of rock, video game music, or any of the more advanced styles we know today.

Twenty year old black people are annoying, but after forty there are many examples of mature black leaders, taking on responsibility for others like a sort of tribal elder. The deep voiced, responsible black man can recognize foolishness and tell the younger members of the community to not act like children. Avery Brooks and Laurence Fishburne typify this type of mature, responsible black person. FOX sports announcer James Brown shows maturity among his white peers, and demonstrates the "career black" man who can handle a professional job without devolving into typical black stereotypes.
