What's so bad about Sharia Law?

In Islam its legal for an injured plaintiff to exact physical revenge.  Imagine how awesome that would be!  Also, I would love to live in a society where gamblers are whipped. 

We should follow Old Testament law.  Those were some hardcore Jews.
